A glittering culture fest at British Lingua
To mark this year’s Deepawali and spread awareness among students about the role of Indian culture, British Lingua, a pioneer in English communication skills and personality development, today organized a culture fest at his head-office. Hundreds of students and professionals participated in this day-long event, making it a memorable day for both the organizer and the audience.
Several students of different age-group took part in a slew of performances like dancing, singing, modeling, and other activities. The audience left mesmerized to see their talents. On regular intervals, British Lingua holds such events which enable students and learners to get the much-needed exposure that comes handy for them in developing soft skills and gaining entry into job market. These activities not only strengthen them physically and mentally but also make them prepared to face challenges that they face in
Earlier, while inaugurating the culture fest, Dr Birbal Jha, British Lingua MD, stressed the significance of festivals like Deepawali and their role in shaping citizens and nation building. The event also witnessed scene when, on Dr Jha’s call, they swore to contribute for society’s development. As an acclaimed educationist, popular author and self-made entrepreneur, Dr Jha’s role has been commendable. He emphasized the need for English education but, at the same time, highlighted the impact of Indian culture in the world civilization.
Since its inception in 1993, British Lingua has been transforming lives of thousands of youth irrespective of their socio-economic and class status. From the very beginning, it embarked upon initiative which created a paradigm shift in people’s lives.
The enthusiasm and fervor that today’s culture fest created on students truly speaks of the asset that India has and that is demographic dividend. To motivate the participants in different categories, there was provision for awarding modeling talents. Mr Nusrat Ahmad and Miss Pratiksha Kisan Thapa were declared as Mr. British Lingua and Miss British Lingua Diva, respectively. Mr. Nusrat and Miss Suman (in dance competition) were also honored with ethnic Mithila Paag by Dr Jha.
